Samsung wave sells one million sets in europe

After breaking the 1 million units  barrier with the highly-acclaimed Galaxy S , Samsung has just announced that another one of its devices reached the same barrier in Europe, Samsung Wave.

Samsung Wave is the first smartphone running Samsung's own Bada OS. It's also got some nice specifications and excellent ergonomics. The key featuers of this amazing phone are  Samsung Wave comes with a 3.3-inch Super AMOLED display, runs on a  1GHz processor, features a 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording, Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, a microSD card slot for extra storage,
GPS, and Samsung Apps support among others. After all, what's there not to like about these great specs. Obviously, the phone is off to a good start with more than one million Wave units sold within just four months of its availability in Europe.
Back in July this year  ,Samsung had announced that it has already sold a million Waves on a worldwide  , but the latest achievement takes only European sales into account. The recent announcement also proves that the Bada OS   is a success, even though it competes against the giants of Apple's iPhone OS and Google's Android platform.
Besides the Bada platform, Samsung Wave owes its success on the European market to its exquisite design, smart capabilities, as well as to the extensive marketing efforts(remember it was launched in 200 countries at once) that encourage large number of developers to create   applications for this new OS, without fear of being abandoned any time by the Samsung.
News- Swype for samsung wave has arrived.
